The Carey Business School faculty are engaged in interdisciplinary, applied research supporting the school’s research mission and identifying business solutions to some of society’s greateest challenges. These centers and initiatives serve as centralized networks of thought leadership and resources for faculty, students, and the wider community. Centers, Initiatives, and Institutes also provide unique collaborative spaces for partnerships between industry, government, and academic programs.

Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences – Core Services

Integrated Imaging Center(IIC)

The Integrated Imaging Center (IIC) provides a wide range of imaging and related equipment at the Homewood campus. The core equipment includes fluorescence microscopes, electron microscopes and FACS instruments. They also provide a range of sample preparation equipment, especially for EM, gel imagers and bioprinters.

The Institute for Data-Intensive Engineering and Sciences (IDIES) is a team of Johns Hopkins researchers and engineers actively helping research groups find the best solutions for their big data needs and fill any skill gaps with a broad variety of technical expertise and experience.

Whiting School of Engineering (WSE)

Whiting IT offers extensive support for various operational and research systems across WSE. They provide expert consultation for projects that require specialized infrastructure in research computing, networking, or storage. These services are accessible to everyone within JHU WSE.
