Johns Hopkins IT focuses on the specialized needs of researchers by providing investigator-driven services and technology platforms that support the full research lifecycle. From planning projects, to discovering new insights, to sharing and preserving outcomes, JH IT’s facilitators and engineers are dedicated to supporting investigators through every step of the process.
JH IT’s consultations and solutions services provide a connection point for researchers into the world of research IT, assisting with research technology solution design, implementation, onboarding, and patterns. JH IT facilitators provide coordinated services such as for high-performance and cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics and engineering, and clinical study management.
Additionally, facilitators establish connections with other research support groups across Johns Hopkins, such as Research Administration and Compliance Offices, Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, Libraries Data and Software services, the JHM AI & Data Trust, School-based IT services, scientific cores and more. By collaborating with partner research support units and gathering needs, opportunities, and feedback from the community, JH IT can identify solution gaps for potential inclusion in the Research IT roadmap.
